The 5th Transnational Project Meeting of Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education project titled as “Rebuilding the Lives in the Land of Hope” is being held in Tuzla, Istanbul. The participants from Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Sweden, Greece attend the last project meeting to evaluate the project progress, outputs, events and activities done so far. They also discuss about the final project report, mobility tool+, the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, dissemination and sustainability strategies of the project. During the meeting they have visited the courses organised for the migrants and refugees in Tuzla.
The Municipality of Magenta from Italy is also involved in the project as a partner and Ms. Chiara Calati, the major of Magenta has also joined the transnational project meeting and met Mr. Ali Rıza Çalışır, the district governor of Tuzla, Istanbul to discuss possible project cooperations between Tuzla District Governorship (TC Tuzla Kaymakamlığı) and the Municipality of Magenta (Comune Di Magenta)
The meeting is hosted by project coordinator; Tuzla Public Training Centre (Tuzla Halk Eğitimi Merkezi)
The Project focuses on the social and economical integration of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in the hosting countries involved in the project. The partnership has already developed two intellectual outputs: Language and Communication Module and Digital Literacy Module for the target group. The partners locally have organised the language and ICT courses for the migrants and refugees as well.
